“Looking for Christmas” is a collection of stories and plays which bring back the real meaning of Christmas.
Although written in simple language for children of school age, the stories are sure to strike a chord in your heart, too.
Colouring in the drawings of the book will help the reader take an active part in the story while being creative & productive.

Each Christmas I take a stroll in the local shopping mall and marvel at the endless display of imagery, colour and sound that fills the air. Like the children it’ s aimed for, I too find myself engrossed in this world of Christmas jingle and glitz, yet part of me remains wanting.
As a teacher of young children, and a Christian, I felt a need to produce something that could connect with young minds and stir them to think beyond the commercialized façade that has unfortunately come to dominate our experience of Christmas.
“Looking for Christmas” therefore was written to help young student reflect and rebalance their perception of Christmas, particularly in terms of its significance within Christianity, given that is how the celebration of Christmas started, and that this spiritual elements in being threatened by the forces of commercialization and marketing.
The four short and three dialogic stories encourage children to explore the connection between Christmas and Christ and to reflect on some specific fundamentals of Christianity, such as the importance of love, forgiveness and helping others.
Children are amazing! What they lack in knowledge and experience they make up with their open minds and their capacity to feel and sense, but to also de brutally honest and testing when confronted with ideas that don’ t resonate. […]
